Texas Flames Volleyball is a highly competitive club. If you are thinking about trying out for a club team, please know that we expect full dedication and commitment. Club members should plan to attend practices and tournaments.

We believe that players need to learn all volleyball skills to assist them in becoming well rounded players! All players will learn to set!

What Is Club Volleyball?

Club Volleyball season typically runs from November-May and will start after school volleyball is over. Regular club season will be twice per week for at least 2 hrs per day.

This is a big commitment. TX Flames strives to be one of the most competitive clubs in the Greater Houston Area, which means that we must train more than most clubs!

TX Flames Volleyball includes a "Pre-Season" in September and October of each year, to prepare for the upcoming season. This will take place once a week, until we start the regular season in November! Players are excused for school sports events for "Pre-Season."

Players for TX Flames will learn all volleyball skills, as we understand that this is beneficial and important for player development and future success. Positions will be chosen based on team needs, after deciding who can fulfil each position's duty with the most success.

TX Flames is big on team bonding and strives to create a family-oriented environment with plenty of in-house scrimmages, parents vs kids games and giving the opportunity for players to attend professional and college volleyball matches during the season!
